I was just reading an article on Bellsouth.net about the AP poll regarding Gay Marriages, Civil Unions and who is for/against them.
Excuse me for being ignorant, but, what the hell? Who cares if gay people get married or not? Why does this scare straight people so much? It's not like if they say it's okay for gay people to get married that straight people will be forced to marry gay. Duh.
And who the hell keeps saying that gay people are interupting the sanctity of marriage? Um, as far as I knew, us gay people can't get married and therefore it is straight people who are fucking it up. How can i screw it up if I am not married in this country?
And all this family value shit? It sure isn't gay people fucking it up cause we aren't allowed to have families. Straight people have been fucking up their familes for generations and they just want a scapegoat so they don't have to deal. Well, guess what, deal with it. times are changing dickwads.
All of us gay people just want to be recognized as that, people. So far, the family dog and cat have more rights than we do and they can't even speak to anyone. How did all this happen?
Our country is supposed to stand for freedom, but that isn't what it really stands for. As far as i can see it, this country stands for money, lying, cheating and screwing people over to get it. not freedom. if this were a free country, gay people could marry, smoking pot wouldn't land you in jail for the rest of your life, and the people would really run the country. So someone please tell me how Germany, Canada and Amesterdam are all ahead of us in the gay marriage and legal drug dept? We are not free, it is all a fucking lie.
i didn't vote for Bush and I never will. Even if it means moving to Canada where they are starting to have some real freedom...
