survived frances. now it looks like ivan is on his way. god damn it! Frances was okay, not too much damage to our house, but others didn't fare so well. now we have to prepare for ivan, which looks like it's going to be a big one ya know. fuck. i don't want to deal with this shit anymore. oh well.
we had a house full of people for frances. including the most annoying person i have ever had to deal with. we can just say that we were relieved to have our house to ourselves again.
i am taking the day off tomorrow. we were supposed to go to the keys, but they evacuated. i'm still staying home. getting prepared again for the next storm. we really need storm shutters next year, this is ridiculous. i am not in good enough shape for all this. and now it's got to be wood, not light plastic over the windows. a cat. 5 will kill us with just the shit we used this time. and i want a generator. maybe i'll buy one tomorrow. yeah. it would be nice. and i need more propane. then we can cook food too. yeah.
okay. just telling you we are alive and well. hope everyone else is okay.
