Well my friends, the day has come. We are getting rid of the Chinchillas. They will be moved to a home where they will be free to run amok whenever and wherever they want. This is such a big relief. Especially since it looks as if we will be adding another kitty to our clan of four.
see, our friend is about to pop out a kid and since her b/f is being a dick and doesn't help out with the litter and/or cleaning anything, she is freaking out about her cats. the fur, the puke, the what ifs are driving her mad. Anyway, one of her cats, Coletrain, I gave to her a few years back. I got him in Brooklyn off some kids in the middle of winter on the street and gave him to her cause we already had 2 cats, and she only had one..blah blah blah, you get it. i gave her the cat, now she wants to give it to a shelter?! We are like, Fuck No! Give him to us. so, we have to see, but it looks like we will soon have 5 cats. oy. but he is cool and has 5 toes on each paw as well as a nub for a tail. He is part Manx. Very cool cat.
so, the chinnies are leaving us tonight. cage and all. (thank god) now i will have more space on my side of the bedroom again. and no more poops on the floor. (chinchillas shoot their poop out of their butts and it can go like 5 feet away, it's amazingly gross)
but, um yeah. i'm gonna miss them anyway. they are so cute. maybe one day we will get them again. maybe.
